ISTMA warmly welcomes Lee Ai Ming as a Fellow of ISTMA. Mrs Lee has practised law for more than 30 years, specialising in contentious and non-contentious IP matters. During her years of practice, Ai Ming acted in trade mark infringement and passing-off actions including defending ICI against Nippon Paints over the use of the descriptor “3-in-1” and handling trade mark disputes over proprietorship, non-use and well known mark status claims. She also regularly represented both foreign multinational corporations and local SMEs in patent disputes involving cutting edge technologies in the fields of semiconductors, telecommunications, pharmaceutical preparations and biotechnology.
Ai Ming has been active in advancing the trade mark profession and putting Singapore forward as an IP Hub for the region. Ai Ming was one of the founding Council members of ISTMA and continues to contribute to ISTMA in her activities with the Governance & Government Relations Committee.
